Born and raised in The Plains Virginia, Dr. Katie is a graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic and has been practicing as a Doctor of Chiropractic since 1991. She has her Master Certification in Nutrition Response Testing, certified in BioSET allergy elimination, and has her 100-hour certification in Applied Kinesiology.
Dr. Katie wanted to be a Chiropractor since the age of 10. After a serious injury from horseback riding leaving her unable to ride due to the extreme pain, her mom took her to see a Chiropractor – that is how it all started!
“I am so grateful to be able to help people like I was helped. I consider myself truly lucky to absolutely love what I do. Nothing gives me more happiness than to have a client tell me how much better they feel. To know that I’m making that kind of impact on a person’s health is truly humbling and I love it.”
“Nutrition became my passion while in chiropractic college because of my struggle for years with horrible menstrual cramps, heavy bleeding and ovarian cysts. Whole food nutrition and herbal therapy balanced my hormones and enabled me to function effectively and nearly completely pain free! I’m thrilled to be able to share my knowledge and expertise with women who suffer from the same or similar symptoms.”
